Prostate Cancer Study

In an interview with CBS News, Dr. Herbert Lepor commented on a new study in the New England Journal of Medicine that found if you were treated with prostate cancer surgery you had a 25% reduction in your death rate and were 60% less likely to have the cancer metastasize or spread to other parts of the body. The study shows there is significant benefit as far as overall survival if radical prostatectomy is chosen. Read more
